Game Setup
Step 1 — Edit config.cfg
Before launching, open your config.cfg file located in Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\ and set the following values. If a line already exists, change its value; if it doesn't exist, add it.

uset g_developer "1"r_buffer_page_size "50"— Reduces buffer-related crashes when loading a large number of map sectors. Required for large combos — skipping it causes instability.g_console "1"— Enables the in-game console. Press the backtick key (`) to open it in-game.g_developer "1"— Enables developer mode, allowing console commands such asgoto <city>to teleport to any location on the map. Useful for reaching regions with no available delivery jobs on a fresh profile.
Step 2 — Steam Launch Options
Open Steam → right-click ETS2 → Properties → Launch Options. Paste in the line matching your installed RAM exactly as shown.

Step 3 — Profile Setup
Always start a new profile when loading this combo for the first time, or after any significant change to the mod list.
Set your starting city to Salzburg, Innsbruck, or Graz (Austria). These sit near the geographical centre of the full playable world and avoid the map-edge artefacts that can appear when starting near the outer boundaries of the combo.
Reduce autosave frequency to every 20–30 minutes. With this many mods loaded, autosave pauses become noticeable — lowering the frequency keeps sessions smooth.
Nordic Horizons DLC is mandatory for this combo — make sure you own and have it enabled before proceeding.

How to Install
Download every file linked in the table below from its listed source (see Download Sources above).
Drop the
.scsfiles into your ETS2modfolder:Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod/For
.zipfiles, extract first and check whether the mod loads as a folder or contains an.scsinside.
Launch ETS2 → Mod Manager.
Activate every mod.
Reorder your active mod list to match the table below exactly, top to bottom. In ETS2's Mod Manager, the mod at the top of your list has the highest load priority.
Save and load into your profile.

Troubleshooting
Black holes / floating terrain: A load order mistake almost every time — recheck the mod's exact position in the table above.
Crash to desktop on profile load: Usually a version mismatch (ProMods 2.83 / RusMap 2.60 are the versions this list is built for) or a missing "Fix" mod — the Fix entries exist specifically to patch conflicts between overlapping map mods, so don't skip them.
Missing roads at connection points: "Connector" and "RC" (road connector) mods must load above the base maps they link, exactly as ordered here.
Mods refuse to load / red errors in-game: Confirm Nordic Horizons DLC is enabled, and double check your launch options match your RAM tier.
